Facebook is a social network , which was founded by Mark Zuckerberg. It has enabled users to connect with each other since 2004. The network now has around 2 billion users. Although Facebook has been criticized by many privacy advocates, the website is one of the five most visited websites in the world and is even in second place in Germany, just behind Google.
The center of the network is their own profile page, on which the person can introduce himself. Videos, pictures or comments can be published on this page;
Furthermore, users can chat with each other and send each other pictures. The operator Facebook Inc. also bought Whatapp in 2014 and Instagram in 2012. The network thus has numerous connections to other networks and enables a high level of synchronization.
